Three times a year, on the first Sunday in February, June and October, we celebrate the sacrament of Communion, where we share bread and wine. This follows the command of Jesus at the Last Supper with his disciples, where he urged them to “do this in memory of me.” As his disciples today, we also follow that command. The table is open to all believers, for we believe it is not the table of East Kilbride Old Parish Church, or the Church of Scotland, but the table of our Lord himself.
